Alim Program – Comprehensive Study of the Islamic Sciences

The Alim Program at Darul Uloom Canada offers a profound journey into the Islamic Sciences, equipping students with both deep knowledge and practical skills to serve their communities. Over the course of six years, students develop expertise in:

  • Arabic Grammar and Literature
  • Tajweed and Qur’anic Studies
  • Tafseer and Hadith
  • Islamic Law (Fiqh) and Jurisprudence
  • Islamic History and Theology

Delivered in a traditional learning environment, students spend approximately six hours per day under the guidance of certified scholars, receiving direct instruction and mentorship. This structured approach prepares graduates to become upright citizens, capable of contributing as Imams, educators, administrators, researchers, or writers in the Islamic world.

Upon graduation, students have the option to pursue specialized advanced studies in Fiqh, Hadith, Tafseer, or other sciences, preparing them for leadership roles such as Mufti, Muhadith, or Mufassir.
